    Description

Turn Kindness into Comfort - Hospice Volunteers Needed

The presence of a hospice volunteer can be one of the most meaningful gifts in a patient’s life. Compassus Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to provide companionship to patients in their homes or care facilities.

Being a hospice volunteer may include sitting with a patient, holding a hand, reading aloud, listening to stories, or sharing a simple activity like music, puzzles, or looking through photos. No medical skills are required - just kindness, patience, and a willingness to be present.

Free training, TB testing, and background checks are provided.
