    Description

    Therapeutic horseback riding instructors (TRI) must be able to verbally instruct riders with special needs how to ride a horse. They must be able to prepare written lesson plans, goals and objectives for each individual student. TRIs must be able to manage volunteers and equines. TRIs must be able to arrive 1/2 hour prior to each lesson to prepare for lessons and stay 1/2 hour after each lesson to clean up after lessons and write evaluations of each student's lesson. Instructors must also be able to work amicably with lesson volunteers and abide by procedures as prescribed by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International. Prior horse show experience also a plus.

    • Shift start and stop times depend on client schedules.: 07:30 to 12:00 PST
    • Shifts start and end times depend on client schedules: 14:30 to 19:30 PST
