    Description

    Join Empowered Futures as a Treasurer and play a key role in managing our financial health, ensuring transparency, and supporting our mission of empowering emerging adults.”

    Treasurer will oversee the financial health of Empowered Futures, manage banking activities, and ensure proper financial reporting and compliance. This role is critical to maintaining transparency and enabling strategic decision-making for organizational growth.

    Reporting to : President

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the organization’s cash flow, bank accounts, and regulation
    • Analyze revenue (through sponsorship, partnership donations, grants and fundraising), expenses, cashflow and present financial reports to Board and senior leadership.
    • Oversee budgeting and forecasting to ensure financial sustainability and alignment with organizational goals.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, legal requirements, and organizational policies.
    • Monitor and manage risk related to finances.
    • Advise the Board on financial planning, sustainability, and resource allocation.
    • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in in business administration, finance, economics, commerce, or accounting; CPA/CFA preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years experience in treasury, finance management, or accounting roles.
    • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and advise on strategic financial decisions.
