In 2023 and 2024, we lost over 4000 unhoused neighbors to preventable causes, marking eight consecutive years of increasing deaths. Many froze to death, a truly unthinkable tragedy. This December, we’re working to save lives by delivering vital winter essentials to those on the streets. We need your support. We invite you to participate in an impactful weekend of service this December assembling and distributing Essential Kits, Womens + Girls Kits, and Companion Animal Kits. We are committed to serving and saving 1,000 lives this winter!
Our Schedule
Friday, December 12th: Preparing and assembling Essential kits, featuring special family-friendly sessions and educational programming designed for volunteers of all ages.
Saturday, December 13th: Our biggest day of service. Morning assembly to complete winter kits, followed by training sessions to prepare for serving our neighbors. In the afternoon, we will head out across Greater Los Angeles, including Hollywood, Venice, Santa Monica, DTLA, The SF Valley, and various agency partners
Sunday, December 14th: Outreach continues through the day to underserved areas all over the City and County.
Outreach 2025 will be held in the Fellowship Hall of Brentwood Presbyterian Church. Street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods.
