    Description

    The Somaliland Youth Development Fund (SLYDF) seeks a remote Strategic Advisor to help scale youth impact through financial inclusion and entrepreneurship. The advisor will mentor the Director of Fund Mobilization in securing international grants and building global partnerships.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Edit and strengthen grant proposals for major donors (USAID, EU, foundations).
    • Draft high-level Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for international partnerships.
    • Identify and research aligned donor and funding opportunities.
    • Provide monthly virtual mentorship on fund mobilization and donor relations.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in international grant writing or NGO resource mobilization.
    • Strong professional English.
    • Knowledge of global donors and impact funding ecosystems.

    Commitment

    • 2–4 flexible hours per week.
    • Fully remote.
