Tech Liaison Analyst (Remote/Unpaid Volunteer)

Empowered Futures is seeking a forward-thinking and skilled Tech & Liaison Analyst who will analyze system performance, user feedback, and data trends to recommend improvements and optimize workflows. This role ensures that technology solutions align with organizational needs, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights while supporting the successful implementation, adoption, and optimization of systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between IT teams, vendors, and business units to ensure alignment on goals, requirements, and timelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for new initiatives and system enhancements.
- Convert organizational needs into technical specifications and help non-technical stakeholders understand system capabilities, constraints, and impacts.
- Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of technology projects, ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
- Investigate, triage, and escalate technical issues while keeping stakeholders informed on progress and outcomes.
- Analyze system performance, user feedback, and data trends to recommend improvements and optimize workflows.
- Create and maintain user guides, technical documentation, process flows, and training materials.
- Liaise with external technology providers for troubleshooting, product updates, service inquiries, and integration needs.
- Support rollouts of new tools or features through training, communication, and transition planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Analysis, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, IT liaison work, or technical support roles.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, software development processes, and data concepts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Experience with project management or Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) preferred.
- Proficiency with collaboration and documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
- Strong analytical skills, including troubleshooting and data interpretation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
