The Grants Assistant Volunteer helps drive Florida Youth At Risk financial sustainability by assisting with grant research and writing. This role requires organization, detail-oriented, writing skills and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and research potential funding sources from government, private foundations, and corporate sponsors.
Assist with writing, editing and submitting high-quality grant proposals and applications tailored to funding opportunities.
Assist with ensuring grant deadlines are met, compliance with reporting requirements and the terms of awarded grants.
Helpcultivate and maintain relationships with funding organizations, including providing follow-up information and reporting.
Collaborate with the finance department to create accurate and detailed grant budgets.
Track progress on awarded grants, ensure proper documentation is in place, and generate regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure that all grant applications and reports meet regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
