Harvard in Tech is an official Harvard University-wide Alumni Group for Technology. Our goal is to further the development of technology through encouraging innovation, providing resources and networks, and promoting technological activity throughout the Harvard community. We connect founders, operators, and investors across tech-powered industries around the world.

What You’ll Do

The Community Ops & Growth Manager will foster engagement within the WhatsApp group. You’ll get to strategize creative ways to stimulate growth and collaboration, as well as execute initiatives to strengthen community ties. You’ll be part of a team of volunteers and get to work closely with other HIT alumni.

Responsibilities

• Run and expand growth initiatives in our Harvard in Tech WhatsApp group
• Operationally manage the WhatsApp group, including onboarding new members and curating the membership experience
• Contribute content and collaborate as part of the HIT alumni volunteer team

Commitment

• Volunteer role (~5 hours/week, flexible timing)
• Remote / Virtual

Skills & Experience

• Harvard alumni
• Relevant experience in social media management or digital community engagement (can be through university student groups)
• Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
