Description
The American Red Cross SAF Workshop Facilitator role involves supporting the Regional Service to the Armed Forces department by providing Reconnection Workshop modules to military, veterans, and their families in various community settings.
- Working under the supervision of a Regional SAF Lead.
- Staying updated on mental health research and practices for military and veterans.
- Completing training to become a facilitator, which includes orientation and military culture coursework.
- Earning Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for professional development.
- Qualifications typically include being a licensed mental health professional and holding a current and unencumbered license
