Description
Our volunteers spend quality non-medical companionship time with our end-of-life patients wherever they call home, whether it be a nursing home, assisted living, their own home, or that of a loved one. I provide training and ongoing monthly education. We serve a very large area in a 60 mile radius surrounding both Round Rock and Kyle, but you can stay closer to home in your choice of patient assignment if you'd like! All that I ask is that if you commit to visiting 3 times per month (for example), that the commitment is kept unless there are extenuating circumstances. I am a fully open book when it comes to communication. It is key in making a great team! I'd love to have you on our team of making the end of life as best as it can be.

How to Volunteer for This Opportunity
First, please click the link to the simple application page. You can filter down to the Round Rock or Austin location. That application will come directly to me. We will then set up an interview time to chat on the phone. We will then have HR send you a background check link, and when the all clear is sent to me, we will schedule a time to do some onboarding and training for a couple of hours together. Compassus does also require a company paid TB test that we can schedule at a Labcorp near you.
