    Description

MR is in immediate need of a part time work readiness/job skills coach for ~6 hours per week for 6 weeks. This volunteer will need to be on-site at a local City of Chicago college (exact location to be shared separately) from 10am-12pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from mid-October to mid-November 2025. This role involves leading a small group of 10-15 young adults (ages 18-29) in job/life skills training. All materials including slide presentations are ready and provided for use.

This volunteer ideally has an Education background and is passionate about helping young people succeed in the workforce and in life.

Note: the second half of each day the participants meet with their technical instructor which is why this position is only 2 hours per class day.

While this is a volunteer position, we may be able to provide a small stipend at the end once we secure additional grant funding.
