    Description

    Hospice Family Relief Companion

As a Hospice Family Relief Companion, you would provide relief to the care giver of the hospice patient so they can run an errand, take the other parent to a doctors appt, etc. This will be a flexible and inconsistent timing. However, you will know ahead of time.

Ex: a caregiver needs to take their other parent to a doctors appt in another town on March 20. Travel and total time gone would be about 12-3. Family will inform me, the volunteer coordinator, and I will see if you are free this date/time. You could do the whole duration or just an hour, whatever works best for you.
