    Description

    Role Summary:

    The Ministry Assistant supports Elijah S. Mercy Ministries by handling administrative tasks, coordinating communications, scheduling meetings, and assisting ministry leadership with various projects. This role requires someone organized, reliable, and passionate about serving the ministry’s vision with integrity and humility.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage correspondence and scheduling for ministry leaders
    • Assist with event logistics and volunteer coordination
    • Maintain ministry databases and records
    • Support communications including newsletters and prayer requests
    • Handle general office tasks and prepare materials for events and services

    Biblical Qualifications:

    • Demonstrates a heart of service and humility (Philippians 2:3-4)
    • Exhibits integrity, faithfulness, and discretion (Proverbs 11:3; Titus 2:7-8)
    • Shows respect and submission to spiritual authority (Hebrews 13:17)
    • Displays wisdom and good judgment (James 1:5)
    • Lives a consistent Christian testimony in word and deed (1 Timothy 3:8-10)

    Ideal Candidate:

    Detail-oriented, proactive, excellent communicator, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced ministry environment.
