About the Opportunity:

Youth Haven Ministries is a growing grassroots nonprofit committed to creating safe, welcoming spaces where teens feel valued and supported—no matter their background. We are seeking dedicated Advisory Board Members to provide strategic advice, community insights, and guidance as we expand our youth outreach programs in West Virginia.

This is not a governance or fiduciary role like our Board of Directors, but a flexible advisory position designed for busy professionals, community leaders, and parents who want to make a meaningful difference without a heavy time commitment.

What You'll Do:

• Share your expertise and perspective to help shape Youth Haven’s programs and outreach strategies
• Provide insight on community needs, trends, and potential partnerships
• Support fundraising and awareness efforts by connecting us with local networks
• Attend quarterly meetings (in-person or virtual) and participate in occasional special projects
• Advocate for Youth Haven’s mission within your professional and community circles

What We’re Looking For:

• Professionals, parents, or community leaders passionate about youth empowerment and inclusion
• Strong communication skills and willingness to share ideas constructively
• Commitment to attend 4 meetings per year plus occasional calls or events
• Alignment with our inclusive, faith-based mission that welcomes all youth, including LGBTQ+
• Experience in areas such as education, business, nonprofit management, youth services, marketing, law, or community organizing is a plus but not required
