    Description

    Volunteer Role: Video Editor

    Organization: Leveling the Fields

    Reports to: Marketing Chair

    Time Commitment: 3 to 6 hours per week (flexible)

    Role Overview

    The Video Editor is responsible for turning raw photo and video footage from our programs into polished, short-form videos for social media, email, and fundraising. This role helps bring our programs to life through clear, engaging storytelling.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Edit short-form videos using provided footage (reels, clips, highlights)
    • Create content optimized for social media and digital use
    • Apply basic branding (logos, text overlays, music, pacing)
    • Organize and export final assets to shared folders
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Chair on priorities and deadlines

    Ideal Fit

    • Comfortable editing video (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva, or similar)
    • Strong sense of pacing and storytelling
    • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet light weekly deadlines
    • Passion for youth sports and community impact
