    Commitment Details:
    We ask that you commit to meeting 1/week for at least 1 hour. There is also a training that all volunteers complete (12 hours). (NOTE: If you have previous classroom/teaching experience, this number may be decreased with proof of certification.)

    Description

    Basic Reading Tutor

    ALIVE Literacy is seeking volunteer tutors who are interested in working with Adult learners ages 17+ who are in need of basic level reading assistance. The opportunities include 1:1 tutoring and small groups. Days and times are flexible, and will ultimately be up to you and the student(s) you are paired with.
