Volunteer Opportunity: WordPress Developer for a Kenyan Charitable Trust

Sacred Mission Trust, a charitable trust based in Kenya, is seeking a Volunteer WordPress Developer to support the design and development of our new website. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute technical expertise toward amplifying our mission of serving vulnerable communities through education, healthcare, and empowerment initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and launch a new WordPress website that reflects the Trust’s mission and programs.
• Customize themes, layouts, and plugins to create a user-friendly and visually engaging platform.
• Ensure the website is mobile-responsive, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Integrate features such as donation tools, newsletters, and contact forms.
• Provide training or documentation to help staff update and manage website content.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend long-term improvements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience developing and customizing WordPress websites.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and basic PHP.
• Knowledge of website security, SEO best practices, and site optimization.
• Strong design sense and attention to user experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with non-technical team members.
