Description
Internship coordinators are responsible for managing the internship programs at their organization. Their responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing an internship program
- Reviewing and approving internship applications
- Preparing students for the internship experience and supervising students
- Helping students refine internship goals
- Addressing problems and concerns that may develop between students and supervisors
- Recruiting, interviewing and selecting qualified interns
- Creating and monitoring internship programs
- Providing guidance and support to interns
