    Volunteer Opportunity: Concert Front Desk and Patron Support

    Master Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra – A Nonprofit Community Orchestra

    The Master Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra is seeking friendly, reliable volunteers to help support our concerts and create a welcoming experience for our audience. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the arts in your community and enjoy live classical music in an intimate setting.

    Volunteer Role: Front Desk & Hospitality Support

    Location: Concert venues in the Bay Area (Palo Alto, high school, and Los Altos, United Methodist Church)

    Time Commitment: Concert days (weekends), 2–4 hours per performance, four times a year

    Responsibilities may include:

    Greeting and welcoming audience members as they arrive

    Selling or distributing tickets at the front desk

    Assisting with will-call and guest lists

    Providing basic information about the orchestra and concerts

    Helping set up or clean up light reception refreshments (as needed)

    Who We’re Looking For:

    Friendly, courteous individuals who enjoy interacting with the public

    Organized and dependable, with good communication skills

    Comfortable handling simple cash or card transactions (training provided)

    High school National Merit students, retirees, or anyone who enjoys live music and giving back to the community are especially encouraged to apply
