    Position Overview

We are seeking a Social Media Content Manager to help amplify GPC’s mission and inspire global audiences through storytelling and digital engagement. This is a unique opportunity to use your creative and strategic skills to grow an international brand that’s transforming communities through sustainability and color.

The ideal candidate is a motivated communicator with a passion for social impact, strong digital instincts, and the ability to create engaging multimedia content. You will collaborate directly with GPC leadership to design campaigns, produce posts, and lead initiatives that expand our visibility and deepen our impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    Content Strategy & Creation

    • Develop, plan, and publish compelling social media content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and TikTok.
    • Create short-form videos, reels, and visual storytelling campaigns to highlight GPC’s impact, volunteer activities, and global projects.
    • Design and schedule posts using Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools to maintain consistent brand identity and engagement.
    • Write and edit blogs and newsletters that share success stories, partnerships, and sustainability milestones.

    Community Engagement & Brand Growth

    • Grow and manage GPC’s online community by engaging with followers, partners, and influencers.
    • Strengthen relationships with partner organizations, universities, and local communities through social channels.
    • Act as a brand ambassador for GPC—advocating for paint recycling, environmental awareness, and creative community solutions.

    Analytics & Reporting

    • Monitor social media analytics to evaluate engagement, reach, and audience growth.
    • Provide monthly performance summaries and strategic recommendations for improvement.
    • Stay up to date on digital trends and identify opportunities for innovation.

    Multimedia & Web Collaboration

    • Collaborate with the communications team to edit videos, update event pages, and upload content to the GPC website (WordPress).
    • Assist with newsletter design, photo curation, and campaign messaging.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related field.
    • Proven experience managing professional social media accounts or campaigns.
    • Proficiency in Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Workspace, and WordPress.
    • Strong creative writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
    • Basic knowledge of photo and video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar).
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
