Cards of Comfort: Handmade & Mailed Cards for Hospice Patients

A kind word on paper can mean the world. We are seeking volunteers who enjoy making or sending cards to bring encouragement, joy, and connection to patients receiving hospice care. Whether handwritten, decorated, or handmade, these cards will be delivered by our team directly to patients and families.

    Responsibilities

    • Create or purchase cards and include handwritten messages of kindness, support, or holiday cheer.
    • Ensure messages are simple, uplifting, and appropriate for a wide range of patients and families.
    • Arrange drop-off or mail cards directly to the Compassus office.
    • Encourage others in your community (friends, schools, clubs, church groups) to participate.
