Description
New England Justice for Our Neighbors serves most of Massachusetts, providing free, expert legal services to low-income immigrants seeking humanitarian-based visas. We are seeking a volunteer to help perform intakes for Spanish-speaking clients.
When we receive an inquiry, the intake volunteer arranges a phone call with the potential client to collect information and explain our process. The intake volunteer also schedules the client's appointment with an immigration attorney.
All activities can be done remotely and at the volunteer's (and clients') convenience. The intake volunteer must be available when people in the Eastern time zone would be available.
