Description
The Best Buddies Friendship Walk in Chicago on April 19th at the Wintrust Arena is a fun celebration of friendship and inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout our city and state. The event will include a walk, fun games, free food, speeches from our community members, and a day of celebrating our disability community. We would love to have each of you join us as a volunteer to make the day a success!
We are looking for volunteers for two shifts: set-up and tear-down. The set-up shift will be from 9:30am-1:30pm and the tear-down shift will be from 1:30-4:30pm. Please use this link to complete your registration: https://forms.bestbuddies.org/4903690?eventId=a18UL00000Yw7gf
2 shifts available:
- Set Up Shift: Sunday April 19th, 2025 - 09:30 to 1:30 CST
- Tear Down Shift: Sunday April 19th, 2025 - 1:30 to 4:30 CST
Parking is not included and costs $27 per car. We will have food, drinks, and volunteer tshirts for all volunteers.

Onsite parking costs $27. There are public transportation options nearby including green and red line stations and the Metra electric line.
