    Description

    We need volunteers at Sophie's Art Gallery for any of the following roles:

    • Support- assist our students in arts & crafts. Experience a plus, but not necessary. Hours are flexible M-F from 8:30 am – 2 pm.
    • Retail- managing cash register, bagging products at events and during program hours, finding tabling opportunities at events and local areas. Hours are flexible M-F 8:30 am – 3 pm.

    Volunteer Requirements:

    • Can provide 30 hours of service in 3 months or 1 year of service
    • Volunteer application and Interview
    • Physical, tuberculosis screening and drug/alcohol screening (Provided by SMSC)
    • Fingerprinting (Provided by SMSC)
    • Proof of citizenship or immigration status
    • If you are under 18 years of age, you must provide consent from a legal guardian
    • 2-3 hour orientation training
    • Acknowledgement of receipt of SMSC Volunteer Handbook
