    Description

Do you have a friendly, well-behaved pet who loves meeting new people? You and your furry friend can make a profound difference in the lives of hospice patients as part of our compassionate Paw Pals program. The unconditional love and companionship of an animal can provide comfort, joy, and a welcome distraction for those in their final months. Pet visits can sometimes reach a patient in a way that human interaction alone cannot.

    Paw Pals will:

    • Visit with your trained pet in patients' homes, assisted living facilities, or our hospice house.
    • Provide comfort and companionship through gentle interaction.
    • Work with our volunteer manager to arrange visits based on your availability and the patient's needs.
