    Position Overview

    We are seeking a creative and experienced Violence Prevention Curriculum Developer / Digital Learning Specialist to design, develop, and implement digital courses aimed at preventing domestic violence, sexual violence, gun violence, and other forms of interpersonal harm. The goal of this role is to provide individuals with the knowledge, skills, and resources to prevent violent behaviors and reduce reentry into the criminal justice system.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design evidence-informed digital learning modules and curriculum focused on violence prevention and harm reduction.
    • Develop interactive content suitable for online delivery, including videos, quizzes, case studies, and resource guides.
    • Collaborate with social workers, mental health specialists, and reentry staff to ensure content is culturally competent, trauma-informed, and relevant to the target population.
    • Integrate evaluation metrics into courses to assess effectiveness and engagement.
    • Maintain and update digital content to reflect best practices and current research in violence prevention.
    • Provide support to instructors or facilitators delivering content to participants in person or online.

    Required Qualifications

    • Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or digital learning.
    • Knowledge of violence prevention, social services, or criminal justice programming.
    • Strong writing, communication, and digital content creation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with justice-involved populations or in community-based prevention programs.
    • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning software.
    • Background in trauma-informed care, social work, or behavioral health.

    Compensation

    Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. This role may be structured as part-time, full-time, or contract-based.
