    Description

The Friends of the Southfield Public Library are seeking volunteers to assist in the BookShelf. The BookShelf is open the first Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of every month. Volunteers help at the sales by assisting customers and checking customers out at the cash register. In between sales, the volunteers sort, organize, price and restock for upcoming sales.

At the moment our greatest need is for help with pricing and sorting on Monday and Wednesday afternoons.

Some tasks require the ability to push a cart containing books. Some lifting and bending may also be necessary.

I hope you see something that interest you or if you have other thoughts please let me know - I'd love to talk with you more about this! Feel free to call me at 248-796-4367 or email me at krembert@southfieldlibrary.org.

    Thanks!
