Event Description

Be My Neighbor Day is a community celebration inspired by Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, designed to bring families together for a joyful day of learning, play, and connection. The event features Storytime with PPLD, a high-energy Daniel Tiger Dance Party, a WeeCycle baby-bag service project, and a hallway of local community partners sharing helpful family resources. Volunteers will help welcome families, support activity stations, guide guests between event areas, and ensure a warm, safe, and engaging experience for all. This opportunity is perfect for volunteers who enjoy working with young children, supporting community partnerships, and being part of a lively, hands-on event.

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

(Includes setup, event support, and teardown)

• Runners / Floaters (1–2 volunteers)
• Tear-Down Crew (All volunteers)

• Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
