The Budgeting & Finance Accounting Director, reporting directly to the Executive Director, Assistant Directors, and Marketing Director, plays a vital role in managing the financial planning, budgeting, and accounting operations of the Marketing Department. This position ensures responsible financial stewardship, transparency, and strategic allocation of resources to support the organization’s goals and initiatives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Management (Accounting or Finance is ideal; Master’s preferred).
Proven experience in budgeting, finance, or accounting roles (experience in nonprofit, student organizations, or educational settings is a plus).
Strong analytical and financial management skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to prepare budgets, track expenses, and create financial reports.
Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and budgeting tools; experience with project management platforms like Asana is a plus.
Strong organizational skills, integrity, and ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate financial information clearly to non-finance team members.
