    Role Description

    This is a remote, volunteer position for HTML/CSS Course Instructors at Outcome School. Instructors will be responsible for designing, delivering, and facilitating engaging lessons on HTML and CSS. Responsibilities include creating educational content, guiding students through hands-on coding exercises, reviewing assignments, and providing constructive feedback to help learners improve their skills. Instructors may also collaborate with the organization to refine curriculum materials and support students in building practical projects.

    Qualifications

    • Strong knowledge and experience in HTML and CSS, with the ability to effectively teach foundational and advanced concepts
    • Proficiency in educational methods such as lesson planning, instructional techniques, and delivering engaging online learning sessions
    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to provide clear explanations, thoughtful feedback, and guidance to students
    • Familiarity with additional web technologies, such as responsive design, accessibility principles, and version control (e.g., Git), is a plus
    • A passion for mentoring and empowering underserved communities through education
    • Previous teaching or instructional experience in web development is beneficial but not required
