    Program Assistants (Volunteer Role)

    Position Title: Program Assistant (Volunteer)

    Reports To: Programs Manager

    Commitment: 5–10 hours/week

    Duration: 12 Months

    Location: Remote (with possible field engagements depending on category)

    Role Summary

    The Smile Outreach is building a team of passionate Program Assistant Volunteers to support the delivery of our 2026 programmatic initiatives. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit program management while contributing to meaningful work that protects and empowers adolescents across Africa.

    As a Program Assistant Volunteer, you will choose one support category that aligns with your skills, interests, and availability. You will work alongside our Programs Manager and Youth Engagement & Community Manager to ensure our initiatives reach the communities that need them most.

    We are recruiting multiple volunteers across all categories—so whether your strength is research, event coordination, data, or community engagement, there is a place for you on this team.If you’re energized by systems, stories, and service—and especially if you’re a woman—this opportunity is designed for you.
