    Give The Gift Of Time With Aegis Hospice - Volunteers Needed

    If that’s just what YOU feel while volunteering with Aegis Hospice, imagine what the patient themselves will feel having received the gift of your time. We take your preferences and strengths to individually match you with a patient with similar interests to create a mutually beneficial relationship. Activities may include simple but meaningful companionship, crafts, journaling, pet or music therapy, veteran-to-veteran camaraderie or administrative projects.

    We’re looking for people who are at least 18 years old who are interested in dedicating time to hospice patients. Training will be provided, along with ten hours of education. Please note that a background check is required, as well as a current negative TB test and a current CPR certification.
