About EVENforONE
EVENforONE is a survivor-led, trauma-informed nonprofit working to prevent human trafficking through education, awareness, and systems-level change. Our writing is used by educators, parents, advocates, and decision-makers to better understand exploitation and how to prevent it.
We're inviting Contributing Writers to help translate complex issues into clear, ethical, and accessible content that informs the public and supports real-world prevention.
Position Overview
This is a low-barrier, flexible volunteer opportunity for writers who care about ethical storytelling and social impact.
As a Contributing Writer, you’ll create bylined blog content that educates readers, challenges myths, and offers practical, trauma-informed insights into human trafficking and exploitation prevention. Writers receive topic guidance, editorial support, and flexibility to pitch ideas aligned with their interests.
We recommend starting with three articles as a trial contribution. If it’s a good fit on both sides, you’re welcome to continue contributing.

Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be an expert in trafficking. We value strong writers with curiosity and care.
Experience with blogging, content writing, or SEO is an asset, but not required.
Training & Support
A background check is required prior to publishing.
Why This Role Matters
Your writing helps shape how communities understand exploitation, prevention, and survivor-informed responses. These articles support education efforts, influence conversations, and help people recognize and respond to trafficking in real life.
