    Description

    Join the C-CORE Social Justice Committee - Detroit 48206

    C-CORE is the social justice arm of W.I.S.E. Partnership. It is the acronym for Community Center of Rights & Equity.

    Are you passionate about social justice, equity, and community change? W.I.S.E. Partnership is building the Community Center of Rights & Equity (C-CORE) to unite neighbors, advocates, and leaders in creating solutions for Detroit.

    We are recruiting volunteers of all ages and backgrounds, with a special emphasis on residents of the 48206 community, to join our committee and action teams.

    What Volunteers Will Do:

    • Participate in focus groups and workshops that respond to community-identified issues.
    • Help plan and facilitate social justice sessions and discussions.
    • Support neighborhood engagement through block-by-block outreach.
    • Assist with fundraising, advocacy, and youth programming.
    • Work with community partners to strengthen equity and opportunity.

    Skills Needed:Open hearts, open minds, and commitment to Detroit’s future. No prior experience required-just bring your passion.

    Impact:

    Volunteers will help shape real solutions for unity, seniors, reentry, restorative justice, housing, youth leadership, and neighborhood health. Your voice and presence will make a lasting difference.
