Reports to: Executive Director
Hours: 4–6 hrs/week
Commitment: 6–12 months
Role Summary
Provides support to families navigating domestic violence, helping them access resources, build safety plans, and stabilize in housing, school, and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Support parents with school coordination, safety needs, and referrals
- Assist with emergency resources (food, clothing, transportation)
- Provide trauma-informed family support during transitions
- Help connect families to community programs
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical boundaries
Qualifications
- Experience in family services, DV work, or child/family advocacy
- Strong communication and boundary-setting skills
- Trauma-informed training preferred (or willingness to train)
