Volunteer Internship

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Time Commitment: 10 hours a week for 1 month (can be up to 4 months)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build grassroots support by reaching out to and persuading volunteers directly through phone banking, petition-collecting, and other direct voter contact (DVC) tactics.

• Work with and learn from our campaign team, volunteers, and the Chairman.

• Support the recruitment, management, and training of a diverse team of volunteers across Virginia.

• Staff and or attend events that include but are not limited to: in-person ballot petitioning and community meetings.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented.

• Ability to track and report data in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner.

• Access to a cell phone, a laptop, and the ability to easily travel.

• Passionate about getting Democrats elected in the DMV
