    Description

    The Board Chair leads the Board of Directors in governance, oversight, and strategic decision-making. The Chair works closely with the Executive Director to ensure the organization’s mission, goals, and programs are effectively implemented.

    Responsibilities:

    • Preside over all board meetings and set meeting agendas in collaboration with the Executive Director.
    • Provide leadership to the board, ensuring it functions effectively and fulfills its responsibilities.
    • Support and evaluate the Executive Director.
    • Represent D House of Angels publicly at events and community meetings.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between the board and management.
    • Ensure committees are active and aligned with organizational priorities.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Prior experience in nonprofit or community leadership preferred.
    • Deep commitment to D House of Angels’ mission and values.
