Description
The Board Chair leads the Board of Directors in governance, oversight, and strategic decision-making. The Chair works closely with the Executive Director to ensure the organization’s mission, goals, and programs are effectively implemented.
Responsibilities:
- Preside over all board meetings and set meeting agendas in collaboration with the Executive Director.
- Provide leadership to the board, ensuring it functions effectively and fulfills its responsibilities.
- Support and evaluate the Executive Director.
- Represent D House of Angels publicly at events and community meetings.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the board and management.
- Ensure committees are active and aligned with organizational priorities.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Prior experience in nonprofit or community leadership preferred.
- Deep commitment to D House of Angels’ mission and values.
