    Description

    Seeking Volunteers for Fabric Thrift Store/Quilt Studio Assistant

    We are looking for volunteers who are reliable, welcoming, and interested in supporting a creative community. Some sewing experience is preferred. we provide training. What matters most is showing up, being open to learning, and helping others feel comfortable in our space.

    Volunteers’ roles include

    • sorting and pricing fabric in the Thrift Store
    • assisting students to piece and design their quilts in the Studio Classroom
    • helping students finish projects in the Long-Arm Suite
    • Some volunteers will move on to teaching and mentoring
    • support events and outreach

    We need help during daytime, evening, and Saturday shifts, so there’s a place for every schedule.

    This is a great opportunity for quilters who wish to share their experience and knowledge.
