AFSP Minnesota is seeking a Participant Outreach & Recruitment Volunteer to help grow and support Walk teams for the Twin Cities Out of the Darkness Walk - one of the nation's largest suicide prevention events.

Walk participants are often families, survivors, and community members walking in honor of loved ones. Your role will help ensure they feel supported, informed, and connected.

    • Recruit new teams from workplaces, schools, and community groups

    • Collaborate with a passionate, mission-driven committee

    Why This Role Matters:

You'll help create a meaningful, supportive experience for thousands of Minnesotans walking for hope, healing, and connection.

    What You'll Gain:

    • Hands-on event planning and outreach experience
    • Leadership development and communication skills
    • A supportive team invested in your success
    • A meaningful opportunity to impact suicide prevention in Minnesota
