Seeking Volunteers to help with our virtual reality program for hospice patients - San Diego, CA

Anchor Health is seeking volunteers to help our San Diego patients experience our virtual reality headset program.

You will receive training to guide patients and their loved ones through the VR experience. From the comfort of their bed or chair, they will have the opportunity to visit countless places around the world; to re-experience favorite memories; and to explore things they never got the opportunity to. They might choose to visit a childhood neighborhood; walk along a beach; or explore Paris, France. The possibilities are endless. Their friends and family can also join in for a group experience, and you will be there to help them check off those important bucket-list items they've always dreamt of.

How do you get started?

Let us know you're interested and our Volunteer Coordinator will give you a call! You will receive an orientation to hospice as well as training on the VR equipment. You will be well-supported and greatly appreciated by Patients, their families, and the entire Anchor Health Hospice team.
