Every community depends on the talent and time of volunteers to help entrepreneurs achieve their dreams of small business ownership. This becomes more urgent during a pandemic like COVID-19.
The SCORE Manasota chapter is currently looking for volunteers to work on specific projects. Our volunteers bring unique skills to assist with leadership and chapter support tasks. They are truly the backbone of our organization.
For example, you may help small businesses benefit from the CARES Act to help them recover from the economic crisis that the pandemic has created. You can also assist the local business community by sharing your business experiences and skills with them, while sharpening your expanding your networking and adding new skills.
If you are interested in aiding a local chapter with data and analytics, helping with local events, being involved on the executive committee, contributing to a task force, or serving in other capacities that will make your local chapter more effective, let us know.
Examples of chapter support roles include COVID-19 Task force, Community Ambassador, Partnerships & Fundraising, Media Contact for National and Local PR, Marketing, Chapter Administrator, Webmaster, Community Outreach, Talent Recruiting and Onboarding, Talen Engagement, Talent Retention and Development, and much more.
