Position Summary
LP4Y USA is seeking a dedicated, full-time project manager & coordinator volunteer to lead the development of the first LP4Y USA YouthLAB, a key initiative to strengthen the organization’s local presence and deepen its impact in the U.S. The YouthLAB will serve as a hub for training, immersion programs, workshops, and forums focused on sharing best practices in youth inclusion. It will bring together NGOs, companies, universities, schools, and local governments—building a vibrant ecosystem of integration. The USA YouthLAB will foster sustainable, high-value relationships with corporate partners and youth inclusion stakeholders while positioning LP4Y as a key local and international actor.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure a physical YouthLAB space in New York City by working with local government agencies, city officials, non-profits, and corporate sponsors.
- Engage and build partnerships with nonprofits, corporations, universities, local government, schools, and key community actors focused on youth inclusion.
- Identify budget requirements and funding sources, including city grants, corporate sponsorships, foundations, and philanthropic donors to ensure the YouthLAB’s financial viability.
- Position the YouthLAB as a collaborative hub for NGOs, companies, and other local actors seeking to improve youth inclusion strategies.
Ideal Profile
- Experienced project manager with a track record of successfully launching community initiatives, innovation hubs, or nonprofit programs.
- Strong existing network across the non-profit sector, corporate partners, local government agencies, and educational institutions in the NY/NJ/CT area.
- Awareness of or strong affinity with LP4Y’s mission to support excluded youth through entrepreneurship and professional integration.
Commitment
- Part-time position with potential to convert to full-time volunteer, based in New York City with essential in-person presence for partnership building, space scouting, and community engagement.
- Minimum commitment of 12 months preferred to lead the project from inception to sustainable operation.
