Position: Event Volunteer
Reports to: Event Coordinator/Manager
Location: Event Venue (varies based on event)
Overview:
Event volunteers are essential to the success of our events, providing support in various areas such as setup, registration, guest assistance, and teardown. Volunteers will work closely with the event team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Setup: Assist in setting up event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, decorations, and signage.
- Registration: Greet and check in attendees, distribute event materials, and answer any initial questions.
- Guest Assistance: Provide information and assistance to guests throughout the event, including directing them to various activities, restrooms, and other facilities.
- Crowd Management: Help manage the flow of attendees, ensuring orderly movement and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
- Activity Support: Assist with specific event activities, such as managing booths, facilitating games or workshops, and supporting event speakers or performers.
- Teardown and Cleanup: Assist in breaking down event setups, packing up materials, and ensuring the venue is clean and orderly after the event.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and perform light physical tasks
