We are looking for a HR Assistant/Coordinator who will provide essential support across the full employee lifecycle. This role ensures smooth and timely HR processes, accurate record-keeping, and a positive experience for volunteers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
- Draft, issue, and track employment contracts and related documents
- Conduct pre-employment checks, including references and right-to-work verification
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, including sending exit surveys
- Upload and maintain accurate job descriptions in the HR system or shared files
- Monitor and improve HR data quality and reporting accuracy
- Provide general administrative support to the HR and Recruitment team
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Discreet with confidential information
- Previous HR or administrative experience
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Will be able to commit to 5 hours of volunteering per week, for a minimum 6 months
