Role Overview

The Compliance Coordinator will play a key role in overseeing FYAR’s compliance efforts, ensuring the organization meets nonprofit regulations, grant obligations, and internal governance standards. This role is well-suited for someone with prior nonprofit, legal, or administrative experience who can work independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor nonprofit compliance requirements (state, federal, and funder-related)
- Maintain and update organizational policies and compliance documentation
- Track grant compliance, reporting deadlines, and required documentation
- Coordinate with leadership and relevant teams to address compliance needs
- Support audit preparation and internal reviews
- Guide and support the Compliance Assistant as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in nonprofit administration, compliance, legal, or governance roles
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
- Familiarity with nonprofit regulations and grant compliance is strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and document management systems
