    The Role

    We're looking for a motivated and innovative Workshop Facilitator (WF) with a passion for facilitating discussions and idea generation to join our dynamic team.

    This is an exciting opportunity to enrich our quarterly workshops by motivating and providing a space for friendly, engaging discussions on thrivability, and inspiring participants to take meaningful action toward a thrivable future.

    As part of THRIVE, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Empower others to share ideas on creating a better world.
    • Help shape our thrivability efforts.
    • Facilitate discussions in our quarterly workshops.
    • Discuss ideas with people from a variety of disciplines.

    Your work will help inspire people to create and share ideas for a thrivable future.

    Key/Main Responsibilities

    • Prepare activities and discussions for in-person and online workshops with the general public.
    • Facilitate and coordinate activities and discussions at workshops.
    • Engage in cross-disciplinary discussions to broaden perspectives on thrivability.
    • Ensure all participants are effectively able to contribute.
    • Contacting participants on workshop days to ensure attendance.
    • Assist with participant registration and promotional materials as needed.
    • Empower others to contribute ideas that help create a better world.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
    • Interpersonal and communication skills, including problem-solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
    • Proven ability to facilitate discussions, preferably with members of the general public.

    Preferred Requirements

    • Previous experience as a workshop facilitator is an advantage.
    • Willingness to learn new skills.
    • The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
    • The ability to be proactive and self-manage your time.
    • A self-driven mindset to make a better future for all.
    • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
    • Well-developed problem-solving abilities.
