Position Summary
ICT is seeking committed and mission-driven Volunteer Board Members to provide leadership, governance, and strategic support as the Institute expands its programs in spiritual abuse recovery, trauma healing, counseling, retreats, and pastoral training. Board members play a vital role in guiding the vision, strengthening accountability, and helping ICT grow sustainably.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in board meetings and strategic planning
- Support organizational governance, ethics, and accountability
- Provide guidance on programs related to trauma recovery and spiritual abuse support
- Assist with fundraising, donor engagement, and community partnerships
- Serve on committees (finance, programs, outreach, research, or development)
- Promote ICT’s mission through advocacy and networking
- Support long-term sustainability and institutional growth
Desired Qualifications
- Passion for Christian mission, justice, healing, and restoration
- Professional experience in one or more areas:
- Counseling/mental health
- Social work or trauma-informed care
- Theology/ministry/pastoral leadership
- Law, nonprofit governance, or ethics
- Finance/accounting
- Fundraising, grant writing, or development
Education
- Masters degree and above.
