    Description

    Head of Communications & Digital Media (Upaid)

    Overview

    As the Head of Communications & Digital Media at DTTASA, you will lead the organisation’s communications strategy, digital engagement, and brand presence across all platforms. You will oversee content creation, manage digital campaigns, and ensure consistent messaging that amplifies DTTASA’s programs in healthcare, education, clean water, and community development. This leadership role combines strategic vision, creative direction, and team management to enhance the organisation’s global impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications and digital media strategy aligned with DTTASA’s mission and goals.
    • Lead and manage the digital media team, ensuring high-quality content creation across social media, websites, newsletters, and reports.
    • Oversee the production of visually compelling graphics, videos, and written content that engage donors, supporters, and beneficiaries.
    • Monitor, analyse, and report on digital engagement metrics, providing insights to optimize content and outreach strategies.
    • Coordinate with program and fundraising teams to showcase success stories, impact metrics, and community initiatives.
    • Maintain brand consistency across all communication channels and ensure adherence to organisational messaging guidelines.
    • Manage external communications, including media relations, press releases, and strategic partnerships.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Proven experience in communications, digital media management, or marketing leadership.
    • Strong knowledge of social media strategy, digital content creation, and analytics tools.
    • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
    • Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a global team.
    • Ability to work strategically, set priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes under deadlines.
    • Passion for social impact, nonprofit work, and mission-driven storytelling.
