    Description

    The Role

    We are looking for a Long-Term Recovery Leader to take point on debris hauling operations. You will be given the locations of debris sites and will coordinate hauling to proper disposal points. This is hands-on leadership that requires safe driving, organizational skill, and commitment to helping communities recover.

    Responsibilities

    • Receive debris pickup assignments from GBR leadership
    • Safely haul loads up to 4,000 pounds
    • Operate a truck and trailer with skill and caution
    • Report progress and any issues to GBR leadership
    • Work with volunteers and local partners as needed
    • Uphold safety standards and represent GBR in the field

    What We’re Looking For

    • Proficiency in pulling and backing trailers (4,000 lbs)
    • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently in the field
    • Commitment to safety and service
    • Experience in disaster response or hauling is helpful but not required
