    Description

    Are you 55 years or older and live in or around Cincinnati, Ohio?

    You are eligible to be a RSVP volunteer (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program)

    Now more than ever seniors are living isolated. These seniors are homebound or possibly don't have many family members or friends still living. This is your chance to help. We need RSVP Volunteers to make weekly calls to their assigned client. These Telecare calls provide simple check in's and allow for companionship these seniors may not otherwise have.

    AmeriCorps Retired and Senior Volunteer Program promotes volunteer opportunities for older adults in Hamilton County. By assessing the interests, talents, and skills of adults 55 and older and determining the biggest needs in our community. We bring together community partners with a strong corps of experienced volunteers to help build capacity and outreach efforts for food pantries, health and wellness programs, social service agencies, and assistance to home-bound seniors.

    So whatever your passion and purpose is, we are here to connect you to local nonprofits. Our program is exclusive to those 55 years+ and Cincinnatian's
